If your looking for authentic Italian, than look no further. Portion sizes are humungous, so they can definitely be shared. It was my first time there and I was impressed. The ambiance is family like and comfortable with an array of wines to choose from. The service was excellent. The food was so good and they timed it perfectly so that you would have a table full of food waiting for you to eat it. Be careful with the appetizers because once we finished it, the salad, a glass of wine.... we were full lol. we took two bites of the food and packed it to go. I had so much food left over that. I took it to work the next day and shared with my coworker for lunch and I still had leftover for dinner at night again it's Italian so definitely share share share share and share.

Yummy. Celebrate my brothers birthday every year with pizza and lasagna. It's his favorite restaurant for pizza

I have been eating at this family restaurant since the 80s and I realize that it's still really good. I always have the linguini with white clam sauce baked. I ask for extra extra garlic and chive. It is delicious. We also get the cheese garlic bread with marinara sauce. Yummy. Pizza is another favorite as well as chicken Diane . The owner Tony has been giving a way free wine, appetizers and sometimes dessert. If you have to wait, why not have a glass of wine, on the house. I don't know how Tony makes any money, every time he sees a regular customer the treats them to something they definitely would not have ordered. Like Mushrooms or zucchini. Spumoni ice cream has also been on the, on the house menu.

Extremely excellent service from the time we entered til the time we leave. This was our first time and they were amazing with their service. Best I've had in the longest and what I mean is that they made us feel at home. The ambiance was casual friendly and the food was considerable portions wow! There pastas were delicious and we are happy .

We still love Palermo! I always get the same thing, pasta with Tony Sauce. Service and ambiance great as always.

A friend and I were in the area for an afternoon play and googled local Italian restaurants as one had popped up that we had already patronized in the past so we decided to give this one a try (so happy we did)! Parking was a bit of a challenge as they do have their own parking lot; however, all spots were taken and they were quite too close for comfort so we found street parking (just pay attention to the signage). Upon entering, it was a very warm welcome by the hostess whom appeared to be one of the owners. The establishment appeared to be a bit busy as it was approaching the 5pm dinner rush and we were seated promptly. As for the food, it was excellent! We were immediately greeted by a wonderful server (did not catch his name) & served some warm complimentary "pizza bread" that was to die for! We were also served complimentary garlic bread with our entrees which happened to be cannelloni in a meat sauce (included your choice of soup or salad). All was delicious! There's enough for two meals so I took half of mine home. We also ordered the house red wine and that was also very good. My friend ordered the cannoli for dessert and he really enjoyed it. Will definitely come again if in the area!

A Hidden Gem in Los Feliz! This Italian & Pizza restaurant has been serving generations of patrons for over 40 years. We had a great time here and the food was quite good. They have a few seats outside but the ambience of the interior will take you back in time. If you go inside, they have pictures of some celebrities that have eaten here over the years. The waitress here was a riot, as she told us she'd been here for over 20 years and told us some wonderful stories! They have booths inside, and parking behind the building too.

During thanksgiving break my parents and brother decided to come here during lunch. I have been here once before and the food tasted authentic. Food: 5/5 the food is authentic and very delicious. The portions are shareable even the sandwich. Even though the portions are big it does not loose it's taste. The pizza was cheesy, crunchy and doughy yummy. The Greek salad had lots of taste. My dad enjoyed his chicken Cacciatore and mom her subway. Service: 5/5 we were seated right away and our waiter checked in on us a couple of times! Ambiance: 5/5 very authentic Italian deco inside and while we were there old customers came by so you know the food is good with recurring customers. Parking: 5:5 they have a lot in the back which is good since this is a highly trafficked area with scarce parking. I can't wait to come back and try other stuff in their menu especially leading up to marathons when you can use up those carbs! Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Every time we come to Hollywood or the Los Angeles Griffith Park, or to catch a show at the Pantages we always try to make a stop at Palermo's. They never disappoint. The service is always on point and the atmosphere is always fun and uplifting. Last night when we were seated, they immediately brought out this neat little personal pan pizza looking thing with amazing cheeses on it. One little sliver for each person at the table. It was outstanding and a great way to wake up your pallet for the food that was about to come. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was extremely tasty as always. The wife had angel hair pasta with meat sauce and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered the everything eight less anchovies and the pizza was cooked to perfection. We always have stuff left over and it's not because we didn't like it. It's because we are stuff and always over order.. If you are ever in the Hollywood area around Sunset and Vermont, you should definitely stop in. You will not be disappointed. Also, if you're lucky, the accordion playing man will be there and can give you a little bit of entertainment. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed him.

Palermo's is my new favorite, Italian food spot! You can never go wrong with the build your own pasta. The pizza is to die for! I'll ordered the combination pizza with onions, bell peppers, and meatballs. It tasted like a Philly cheesesteak sandwich in pizza form. The staff and the owner are super friendly and it's definitely what I would consider authentic Italian food. They also have a wine cellar, so you can pick your own wine to pair with your meal. This is definitely the perfect place to go with a large group and share different entrées just to get a little taste of everything. They also gave us some of their cheese pizza to try, and honestly it was pretty good. I would order a whole pie of that one.
